Well...just as I suspected, my bike didn't sell. So I'm going to keep it and enjoy it as much as I can, as I'm not willing to let it go for peanuts...it's worth more to me than people are willing to pay for it! So I guess the decision has been made for me. Roll-on Indian summer!!

Sorry to hear you didn't get the price you wanted, but I only paid £3,650 for mine 6 months ago when it still had only 1500 miles on the clock so I'm not surprised. That's not to say I think you overpriced it, on the contrary it's still a lot of bike for the price you were asking and below the dealer price, but people aren't as keen to buy at a decent price off eBay.
Interestingly I knocked DK down from £3,800 which is what this one, with 8,000 miles on it is advertised at

Have you thought about asking your local dealer to sell it on comission? that way it looks to the buyer like he's buying from a dealer, even though he doesn't get any additional warranty.
Don't be rushed into selling it, I'm glad you've got the sense to hang on and get some more use out of it, you'll probably find you'll still get the same for it next spring when the real buying frenzy starts.
And take no notice of Ninj, he's just a great big bike whore
