It's gonna have to be a Bandit 1250

As you guy's may know I've been considering a different bike for a while now as I have a preference for heavier bikes. If money wasn't an issue I'd be having a B-King or a CB1300 but I think they are beyond my finances till the mortgage is gone.
So, after much consideration (like used Z750's, Z1000's etc), my mind is more or less set on a Bandit 1250. I'll probably go for the base model or the Street Fighter. After the warranty experience with the Versys I think I'll be looking to buy a new bike rather than secondhand.
Do any of you know anyone with a 1250? If so, do you know what they think of it?

Maybe also worth you looking into somewhere dry to keep it too, I don't think keeping the Versys outdoors has helped, good luck in your search

Go for the 650 bandit a lot cheaper and not much difference in weight or speed but a lot heaver on the MPG, Phil has just had one and loves it.

Will keeping it dry make it heavier then? LOL
It will be kept outside, hence going for a new one and the warranty backup.
@ Jase...
I thought about the 650 but only for a second as I like the idea of a big grunty motor
Thank's guy's

Good luck with the search Versysian, but what are you going to do with your profile name when you change bikes? Banditian?
Although, after admiring Phil's bike I must say, the 650 does look, sound and go very well indeed. It isn't any slower than the 1250 in real world terms.

Nice Ian, I'm drawn to them everytime I go into DK (but then I'm drawn to lots of bikes in there), If you're still planning keeping it outside I hope you're gonna invest in a decent cover for it

I've done about 90 miles on it today and to be honest the little screen seems great
